Field Service Engineer – Water Reuse Systems
Location: North West England (Field Based)
Salary: £37,960 – £41,850 (rising from £34,125 after 6-month probation) + Overtime + Commission
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting customers across the North West of England.
This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills who enjoys working in the field and solving problems on-site. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting water reuse systems, ensuring customers’ equipment continues operating at peak performance.
You will primarily be covering the North West region, with the aim of keeping overnight stays to a minimum.
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and maintaining water reuse systems
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding on control panels, pumps and system components
- Carrying out remedial works and system diagnostics
- Recommending additional work where improvements or repairs are required
- Providing excellent customer service while representing the company on-site
- Working closely with the wider engineering and technical support teams
Full training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge in rainwater and greywater recycling systems.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a field service or maintenance engineering role
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability
- Experience working with control panels, pumps or industrial equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach
