Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Night Shift

Location: Northampton - NN5

Pay rate: £12.89 /Monday Friday

Shift: 8PM - 5 AM / 6PM - 3AM

Type: Temporary - Permanent

Role Overview

We are hiring for a Warehouse Operatives to undertake general warehouse duties in Northampton. This is a friendly warehouse team that handle high volume of customer orders and you will be an important part of this team helping to make sure that orders will be completed on time.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative

You will be working as part of a team and will be responsible for:

Handling and lifting heavy boxes and bulky items.

Carrying out a significant amount of manual handling.

Stacking and wrapping pallets.

Sorting parcels and organising items efficiently.

Unloading trailers and ensuring items are stored correctly.

Adhering to health and safety standards at all times.

Cleaning and tidying the workspace as required to maintain a safe environment.

Skills and Experience of a Warehouse Operative

As a Warehouse Operative:

Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential

Ability to carry out manual handling and physically demanding tasks

Good attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing

Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic

Ability to always follow health and safety procedures

Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required

Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and completing paperwork

Forklift licence (FLT) is an advantage but not required as training may be provided
