The Opportunity

An established and highly regarded electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Electrician to join its growing team. The business delivers high-quality electrical services across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors and is known for its professionalism, technical expertise, and commitment to safety and quality.

This is a hands-on role suited to a senior electrician who enjoys leading by example, working on varied projects, and supporting junior team members on site.

 

The Role

As a Senior Electrician, you will be responsible for:

 

•   Carrying out and overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and remedial works

•   Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and industry standards

•   Supervising and supporting junior electricians and apprentices on site

•   Liaising with clients, site managers, and other contractors

•   Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and workmanship

•   Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification

 

The role is site-based, covering general works around Northamptonshire

 

 

 

 

Requirements

• ECS Gold Card with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing) – preferred
• IPAF 3A & 3B
• PASMA
• SSSTS
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations within the electrical industry
• Proven ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience supervising others.
