Site Manager (Electrical Qualified Supervisor)

Location: East Midlands (Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Northampton, Kettering, Lincoln, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Corby)

We are seeking a Qualified Electrical Site Manager / QS to lead commercial Solar PV installations across the UK. This is a hands-on role managing multiple sites and installer teams, with full responsibility from pre-start through to project handover.

The Role

- Oversee large-scale commercial solar PV installations

- Take full ownership of projects from pre-start to completion

- Lead on-site teams, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and delivery

- Manage multiple sites and coordinate installer teams

- Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders

- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

- Support with reporting, documentation, and project tracking

- Remain hands-on when required to keep projects on schedule

About You

- Fully qualified electrician with Site Manager / QS experience

- Proven experience delivering commercial or industrial installations (Solar PV desirable)

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams/sites

- Solid understanding of on-site health & safety

- Confident communicator with clients and stakeholders

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail

- Willingness to travel and stay away when required

Essential Requirements

- ECS Card and relevant safety certifications

- Full UK driving licence

- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

- AM2 and/or 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent)

Desirable

- SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to obtain)

- First Aid / CPR certification

Location & Travel

This role is based in the East Midlands, with travel required across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.

Working Hours

- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
