We are a leading, privately owned Main Contractor based in Leicestershire and undertake works across the

healthcare, commercial and education sectors on projects ranging in value from £50,000 to £6,500,000 on a

Design & Build or pre-designed arrangement.

We are also a specialist contractor within the medical imaging sector, and work exclusively for NHS Trusts,

Private Healthcare providers and are Approved Contractors for Medical Imaging Equipment suppliers

throughout the UK.

work is delivered on time with a quality finish.

The ideal candidate will be required to aid our existing Pre-Construction team in the produce of competitive

tender submissions specifically for our Construction work stream, compiled using a combination of trade

package subcontract enquiries and first-principal pricing methods.

Experience working on refurbishments projects in the above noted sectors in an Estimating capacity is essential

for this role.

Our work is nationwide and so travel and occasional overnight lodging may be required to undertake tender

surveys on relevant sites.

Key Responsibilities will include (but not limited to);

As an Estimator, you will undertake or assist the pre-construction team, in undertaking the following duties;

▪ Review of tender documentation to establish subcontract trade package and material requirements.

▪ Assess tender documentation to compile individual trade package subcontract enquiries.

▪ Compilation and issuing of tender enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers.

▪ Assessment and alignment of received subcontract tenders.

▪ Identify and compile Tender Qualifications / Exclusions.

▪ Produce Tender Cost document from in-house standard form / format.

▪ Identify any ‘gaps’ in pricing and capture via means of labour / plant / material pricing from 1st principle.

▪ Ability to identify and build tender stage programmes.

▪ Produce take-offs for general works (floor finishes, partitions, ceiling finishes etc).

▪ Pricing of project Preliminaries based on programme durations and identification of preliminary

requirements (welfare, waste, protection etc).

Essential Requirements for the role;

▪ 3-5 Years Estimating experience in a Main Contracting capacity in the healthcare, commercial or

education sectors

▪ Ability to work well under pressure, to meet tight timescales and deadlines.

▪ Work well as part of a team as well as the ability to work with own initiative.

▪ Committed to work beyond the core hour to ensure timescales and deadlines are achieved.

▪ Desire and commitment to develop understanding of the role and the construction industry and

differing sectors.

▪ Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.

▪ Excellent time management and negotiation skills.

▪ Successful Enhanced DBS (This will be obtained by the Company as part of the onboarding process).

Advantageous Skills / Experience:

▪ Good Understanding of JCT / NEC Forms of Contract.

▪ SMM7 and/or NRM experience

▪ Degree Qualified / Construction related qualification.

Site Manager (Electrical Qualified Supervisor)

Location: East Midlands (Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Northampton, Kettering, Lincoln, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Corby)

We are seeking a Qualified Electrical Site Manager / QS to lead commercial Solar PV installations across the UK. This is a hands-on role managing multiple sites and installer teams, with full responsibility from pre-start through to project handover.

The Role

- Oversee large-scale commercial solar PV installations

- Take full ownership of projects from pre-start to completion

- Lead on-site teams, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and delivery

- Manage multiple sites and coordinate installer teams

- Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders

- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations

- Support with reporting, documentation, and project tracking

- Remain hands-on when required to keep projects on schedule

About You

- Fully qualified electrician with Site Manager / QS experience

- Proven experience delivering commercial or industrial installations (Solar PV desirable)

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams/sites

- Solid understanding of on-site health & safety

- Confident communicator with clients and stakeholders

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail

- Willingness to travel and stay away when required

Essential Requirements

- ECS Card and relevant safety certifications

- Full UK driving licence

- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

- AM2 and/or 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent)

Desirable

- SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to obtain)

Location & Travel

This role is based in the East Midlands, with travel required across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.

Electrical Contracts Manager

Location: East Midlands

A growing and well-established electrical compliance contractor is looking for an Electrical Contracts Manager to join its expanding Electrical Management Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor or Contracts/Project Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career and manage multiple commercial electrical compliance contracts.

Role

You will play a key role within the electrical operations team, overseeing the delivery of commercial electrical compliance and service contracts from start to finish.

Projects typically cover a wide range of commercial environments including schools, offices, industrial facilities, warehouses, public buildings and hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of 10 field-based engineers • Acting as the day-to-day operational lead for your team • Liaising with clients, site staff and specialist subcontractors • Conducting site visits to monitor progress and contract performance • Managing labour allocation, materials and contract requirements • Attending client meetings and maintaining strong relationships • Carrying out surveys to support estimating • Identifying opportunities to improve contract efficiency • Completing and managing required project documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience working as an electrician in maintenance, installation, or service environments

• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills • Good organisational and time-management abilities

About You

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Contracts/Project Manager • Experience delivering electrical compliance services (EICRs, emergency lighting,

thermal imaging, remedials) • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382) • Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent) • Strong understanding of BS 7671 and electrical regulations • Experience managing commercial electrical contracts • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Personal Attributes • Self-motivated and well organised • Strong customer service skills • Ability to work independently and use initiative • Willingness to travel to regional project sites

JOB DESCRIPTION: FITTERS MATE (TEMP-TO-PERM) 01/2026 Outline • Starting pay will be £13.00 - £14.00 per hour (depending on experience). • Basic hours of work are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. • There is no fixed overtime but we work all over the UK and therefore due to travel,

• The job involves lifting of heavy and awkward objects, working at height, using power tools and hand tools.

• The applicant will be expected to be familiar with and work safely and competently with power tools and all hand tools.

• The applicant will be expected to be a sensible team player who can work safely, to any given instructions and under the authority of other staff.

• Attitude is looked upon more favourably than experience and a poor attitude towards work and colleagues will not be tolerated.

Additional Job Description • In addition to the installation of doors, the applicant may also work within our workshop

when necessary. • This will involve manual labour under the instruction of others and again can involve

lifting of heavy and awkward objects and using power tools and hand tools. • The work will involve cutting, grinding, drilling and assembling of various steel materials. • In addition, regular day-to-day housekeeping duties can involve sweeping, cleaning,

…Cont.> Prospects • After initial face-to-face interview with the Workshop Manager and/or Managing

Director, the applicant will be taken on a temp-to-perm basis through the agency for the first 12 weeks.

• The applicant will be expected to learn, be enthusiastic and demonstrate their ability or potential, complete with a good attitude from day one. This will need to be consistent in the days and weeks thereafter to enable the work to continue to be provided for the full 12 weeks.

• If the applicant shows consistent enthusiasm and potential during the 12 week period then a permanent job offer will be made.

• If successful the applicant will be offered a 6 month fixed term contract in the first instance.

• Full uniform is provided on direct employment. • The 6 month period is a chance for the applicant to learn and develop into the role

beyond the initial 12 weeks and to prove themselves worthy of a longer term position. • At the start of the 6 month period a full program of training courses and investment will

be provided including the training and qualifying for working at height, manual handling, abrasive wheels, PASMA and any other training as necessary.

• In some circumstances specific training may be provided during the initial 12 weeks and other training may not be appropriate until taken on full time (all at our discretion and depending on the abilities of the applicant).

• If they are successful at the end of the 6 months then a permanent position will be offered.

• Once taken on permanently then further training courses and investment will commence including; industry leading door manufacturer training courses, IPAF Mobile Elevated Work Platform training including scissor lift and articulated boom.
