Forklift Driver Wanted - Immediate Start!

Location: Northampton /Lodge Farm | £13.20 per Hour

Type: (Permanent/Temporary/Temporary to Permanent), Full-Time or Part-Time)

Are you an experienced forklift driver-Counterbalance? Regional Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a industry-leading distributor/manufacturer/logistics company that are looking for a new individual to join their team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. This role offers long-term/short term career development, and the opportunity to grow into the career you are striving for.

Roles & Responsibilities

   Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently in line with company standards

   Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate manual handling techniques

   Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and reporting any damages or discrepancies

   Sorting, organising, and storing stock in the correct warehouse locations

   Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, pump trucks, and (where trained) forklifts

   Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling, wrapping, and securing pallets

   Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times

   Assisting with regular stock takes and inventory checks

   Following health and safety procedures and complying with warehouse regulations

   Meeting daily productivity targets and working effectively as part of a team

   Supporting general warehouse duties as required by supervisors or management

Requirements

   Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable but not essential

   Ability to carry out manual handling and physically demanding tasks

   Good attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing

   Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

   Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic

   Ability to always follow health and safety procedures

   Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required

   Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and completing paperwork

   Forklift licence (FLT) is requirement
