"Powered Pallet Truck Driver(PPT)" Wanted - Immediate Start!

 

Location: Coventry| £12.42 per Hour

 

Type: Temporary to Permanent/Full-Time

Regional Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a industry-leading distributor/manufacturer/logistics company that are looking for a new individual to join their team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right person. Roles & Responsibilities

 

- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently in line with company standards

- Loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate manual handling techniques

- Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and reporting any damages or discrepancies

- Sorting, organising, and storing stock in the correct warehouse locations

- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, pump trucks, and (where trained) forklifts

- Preparing goods for dispatch, including labelling, wrapping, and securing pallets

- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times

- Assisting with regular stock takes and inventory checks

- Following health and safety procedures and complying with warehouse regulations

- Meeting daily productivity targets and working effectively as part of a team

- Supporting general warehouse duties as required by supervisors or management

Requirements

 

Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable

Ability to carry out manual handling and physically demanding tasks

Good attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing

Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team

Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic

Ability to always follow health and safety procedures

Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required

Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and completing paperwork

PPT licence (FLT) valid is needed for this position
